Halloween Guidelines from the Hinsdale Police Department

  • Never go trick-or-treating alone. Always go with a trusted adult or a group of friends. Small children should never be allowed to trick-or-treat alone.

Hinsdale Central Girls' Tennis in 2nd at IHSA State Tournament after Day 1

Seeking to repeat as state champions, Hinsdale Central Girls' Tennis (19) is in second place behind Lake Forest High School (22) after one day of competition at the IHSA State Tournament.

Hinsdale Central one of 12 schools vying for Girls' Golf State Title today and tomorrow

After winning the Marian Catholic Sectional earlier this week, Hinsdale Central Girls' Golf will contend for the IHSA Class 2A State Championship today and tomorrow at Hickory Point Golf Club in Decatur.

The Red Devils are one of 12 schools competing for the team title, which will unfold over the course of two rounds.  Hinsdale placed fourth at last year's state competition.

HC Girls' Tennis captures 19th consecutive WSC Silver title

Hinsdale Central Girls' Tennis won its 19th consecutive West Suburban Silver Division championship on Saturday at Proviso West High School in Hillside.

The Red Devils earned 77 total points, 21 ahead of second place Lyons Township (56) and 25 in front of third place Oak Park-River Forest and Glenbard West (52).

CHMS invites Community to "Rachel's Challenge" Program

Hinsdale Central Girls' Tennis defeats Whitney Young in rain-shortened match

HINSDALE--Hinsdale Central Girls' Tennis remained unbeaten in dual matches, defeating Whitney Young, 4-0, yesterday afternoon at the Jay Kramer Tennis Courts.

The Red Devils won both singles matches, two doubles matches, and were up a set at No. 2 Doubles when rain suspended play and prevented that match from being completed.

Hinsdale will compete at the West Suburban Silver Conference meet today and tomorrow at Proviso West.

Hinsdale Central Girls' Golf wins Naperville North Regional

Hinsdale Central Girls' Golf placed first out of 11 schools at the Naperville North Class AA Regional competition yesterday afternoon at Springbrook Golf Club in Naperville.

Red Devil junior Cailee Beisswanger and senior Rosanna Lederhausen tied for first in the individual competition, posting a pair of 74s.

Hinsdale Central Girls' Tennis remains unbeaten with win over Homewood-Flossmoor

HINSDALE--Hinsdale Central Girls' Tennis improved to 7-0 in dual matches with a 5-2 victory over Homewood-Flossmoor yesterday afternoon at the Jay Kramer Tennis Courts.  Hinsdale dropped two singles matches, but went 4-0 in doubles play. 

The Red Devils did suffer their first defeat over the weekend to Lake Forest Academy at the Lake Forest Power Quad, 3-2; but defeated Deerfield, 4-1, and New Trier, 3-2, at the same event.
