Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille Celebrates Four Decades of Delivering a Rare and Well Done® Experience

The steakhouse is honoring loyal customers throughout 2019 for 40 years of continuous support

Beginning as a humble butcher shop 40 years ago, Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille is a nationally recognized restaurant celebrating its milestone anniversary throughout 2019 in many creative ways. From offering a Pork Chop Friday Lunch giveaway for a year to exciting promotions including the Four for $44, the Perry’s Reserve Big Red Blend offer which includes a commemorative 40th anniversary wine glass, and three retro 70’s-era cocktails with a twist reminiscent of the steakhouse’s early days in 1979, Perry’s is honoring loyal customers throughout the year for 40 years of support.

The restaurant is thanking customers for 40 years of loyalty by giving away a year’s worth of Pork Chop Friday Lunches in honor of its anniversary to three lucky winners. To enter, patrons must post a photo or video to their personal social media page utilizing the hashtag “#PerrysTurns40,” and tag @PerrysSteakhouse on Instagram and @PerrysDining on Facebook.

The social posts can also include a congratulations to Perry’s on the restaurant’s anniversary, a favorite memory at the steakhouse or the entrant’s favorite dishes. Each of the three winners will receive 52 Pork Chop Friday Lunch gift cards which include a lunch cut of Perry’s famous pork chop, whipped potatoes and homemade applesauce. The total value of the gift cards equal $777.40 and are redeemable at any Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille location. The restaurant already has received nearly 400 entries to date. The next winner will be announced by the end of July; any entries submitted between March 29, 2019 through July 2019 will be eligible for the next Pork Chop Friday Lunch for a year giveaway.

Guests can also enjoy three, off-the-menu 1970’s cocktails with a twist beginning in June and will be available throughout the summer. These retro drinks are a nod to the steakhouse’s 1979 beginnings with innovative twists that make them unique to Perry’s. The three cocktails include the Dreamsicle, Summer Sling and The Godfather Returns.

The Perry’s Dreamsicle is a reinvention of the iconic 70’s Harvey Wallbanger featuring Grey Goose, yellow chartreuse, Aperol, lemon and orange juices, shaken and topped with fluffy egg white. The Summer Sling is a twist on the classic Singapore Sling, a 20’s cocktail which gained popularity during the 1970s with an overly sweet version with more grenadine than citrus. Perry’s Summer Sling is reminiscent of the original refreshing sling with The Botanist gin, Benedictine liqueur, Cointreau liqueur, Cherry Heering liqueur, pineapple lime and Luxardo cherry juice. Perry’s also brings The Godfather Returns, inspired by the historic 70’s movie, featuring Monkey Shoulder scotch, Disaronno amaretto and a twist with black walnut bitters.

Perry’s is also celebrating 40 years by giving customers four choices for four delicious courses, all for $44 throughout the month of July. Dinner starts with a choice of a personal sized appetizer: Fried Asparagus, Beef & Bleu, Pork Chop Bites or Cherry Pepper Calamari. Next, customers can choose from four salads: Caesar, Butcher’s Chop, Kale or the Signature Wedge. For the main course, diners have their pick of crowd favorites: 7-oz. Bacon-Wrapped Filet, Grilled Salmon with Lemon Dill Butter, Perry’s Famous Pork Chop or the Ultimate Chicken Parmesan. Finally, guests can finish the meal on a sweet note with Crème Brûlée, the Dessert Trio, Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Candy Bar or the Nutty d’Angelo.

Perry’s continues the anniversary festivities by offering customers the opportunity to raise their glass (and keep it too!) with the Perry’s Reserve Big Red Blend offer. Patrons who purchase a glass of Perry’s Reserve Big Red Blend will receive a commemorative 40th Anniversary Edition wine glass; guests can also purchase additional glasses at $15 each. Offer is valid from July 2019 until the end of the year.

The Perry’s Reserve Big Red Blend features a blend of five Bordeaux red grape varietals. This small production wine is a sophisticated selection available in limited quantities. Aromas of the Perry’s Reserve Big Red Blend include red and dark fruits, cracked pepper, tobacco leaf and spices. The palate shows bright acidity, balancing raspberry and black currant notes. Spicy French Oak, mocha and vanilla bean are wrapped around integrated tannins providing a lingering, bright finish.
